Architect: D2 Architecture
Location: Dallas, TX
The project consists of two 12-story 611,000 sq. ft. towers which are tied together through the first five floors. Floors are cast-in-place two-way post-tensioned concrete slabs with concrete shear walls.
At the ground floor and first basement level, conventional pan-formed concrete framing is used for a below-grade two-level parking garage which occupies a substantial portion of the site. Due to dramatic grade variation across the site, one edge allows for cars to drive directly onto a paved and landscaped top surface of the garage, while at the other, the parking is hidden behind a façade created using two-stories of curved board-formed concrete walls.
